Academic Challenges...
What is academically challenging for me? It is hard understanding information given to you when you can barely understand what your professor is talking about (accent as to say). Luckily me, that has only been with one professor. It is very challenging, to try to focus on school, especially this past week, when your child is sick. My 15 month old son has had pnuemonia for a little over a week now and has caused my grades to fall. I will put my sons health before my school, especially when dealing with pnuemonia. It all started out with a fever of 103, and found out a little later on that he had pnuemonia in his lower left lung. All I can really do is be there for my son and give him his meds, and put school aside. He is doing so much better! His fever has gone away, but still has pnuemonia. I am thinking it will be all gone in less than a week! We have a follow up for Friday morning. That has been my biggest challenge with school. Besides those two things (sons health and professor accents) I would say APA is in my top three for challenges. I am understanding it a little more, but still have problems with it and am afraid of messing it up and being accused of plagiarism! I cannot be happier to finally be in school! I will make a great life for my son and I :)

Hello Natasha,
I hope you do not have trouble understanding my Midwestern accent?
You must be vigilant with pneumonia in a child for sure! I pray that he continues to improve and has no ill effects from his illness.
Actually I don't! One of the teachers I had, had a really strong accent and it made it really difficult to understand. Yours is awesome :-) He seems to be better, but he still has a cough and sore throat. I think that might be just from a cold type as what I got.
